12 December 2005	DIRECTOR OF RAIL SAFETY JOINS ANGEL TRAINS' GROUP BOARD
	Dr Allan Sefton, retiring Director of Rail Safety at the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will join Angel Trains as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2006. Allan will have specific responsibilities at Group level for safety.

24 October 2005	ANGEL TRAINS DONATES CLASS 101 TRAIN TO THE NATIONAL RAIL COLLECTION
	Angel Trains is giving one of its last remaining Class 101 diesel multiple units to the National Railway Museum, which will be loaning it to the East Lancashire Railway Society for the enjoyment of the general public.

16 August 2005	ON TIME COMPLETION OF CLASS 465 REFRESH
	Angel Trains has successfully completed a refresh of 34 Class 465/2 'Networker' units in just nine months. This involved a total of 136 vehicles, which were all delivered on time and to budget.

15 July 2005	ANGEL TRAINS INVESTS £10 MILLION IN THE REFURBISHMENT OF CLASS 317 EMU’S
	Angel Trains is investing £10 million in the interior refurbishment and fitting of CCTV and Passenger Information System for a total of 288 Class 317 vehicles.

	Angel Trains has recruited Jane Vincent as its new Head of Communications.

11 May 2005	HUGE STEP FORWARD FOR HST LIFE EXTENSION PROJECT
	Today Angel Trains unveiled the first of the newly re-engined HST Power Cars at Brush Traction works in Loughborough where the work was undertaken. Two Power Cars have been fitted with MTU 16V 4000 engines as part of a £1.5M trial.
