Angel Trains Invests £32 Million in Merseyside Rolling stock |

Angel Trains, the UK’s leading investor in trains, have signed a deal with Merseytravel, Arriva Trains Merseyside and the Strategic Rail Authority to refurbish the rolling stock for Merseyrail Electrics services. The deal will deliver £32m of private sector investment in the railways in the North West. Passenger benefits include refurbished interiors and performance boosts from engineering modifications. |

Angel Trains, the UK’s leading investor in passenger trains, is pleased to announce that the last of its fleet of 28 new Class 357/2 trains leased to c2c has been delivered by Bombardier. The 4-car units operating on the Fenchurch Street, Tilbury and Southend line have been introduced in record time and have raised the bench-mark for new train reliability for an electrical multiple unit (EMU) in the UK. |
