	Angel Trains will supply English, Welsh and Scottish Railways (EW&S) with 280 freight locomotives worth £375 million. The UK's biggest ever freight train deal is part of a drive by EW&S to make rail freight a competitive alternative to road transport.

16 May 1998	Classic on display at Bournemouth
	Adtranz and Angel Trains will display the Classic at the South West Trains Gala in Bournemouth on 16th and 17th May 1998. Visitors will be able to compare the Classic with an existing Mark 1 coach so they can see the transformation.

30 March 1998	West Anglia Great Northern (WAGN) First Refurbished Train G£s into Service
	Angel Trains provided the finance and project management expertise for the refurbishment of WAGN's Class 317 trains. Twenty four of the 13 year old trains were refurbished to an exceptional standard to update the WAGN fleet.
