Within the Angel Trains Group, Angel Trains Europa is responsible for all client relationships and fleet management in the German, Danish, Dutch, Austrian and Swiss markets for passenger rolling stock.

To date we have invested in a fleet of about 200 diesel and electric passenger multiple units from the key European suppliers, ranging from the 80-seat RegioShuttle to the 150-seat Talent DMU, to the three and five-car Flirt EMU. As our market evolves, we shall accommodate the needs of transport authorities and our clients by offering trains for commuter, inter-regional and long-distance services.

We are the market leader in the leasing of regional passenger trains in both Germany and Denmark and have supplied trains to several leading operators, such as Arriva, Connex, DSB and Abellio. This sector of the rail industry is evolving rapidly in many countries in response to EU and national government legislation. Control of intra-regional networks is increasingly being transferred from central to regional administrations, which in turn are using competitive tendering to invite new and existing operators to bid for concessions.

With concessions often lasting eight to twelve years, and transport authorities innovating with service patterns, the benefits of train leasing are clear for operators, manufacturers and transport authorities alike.
