Our unrivalled in-house engineering capability, with one third of our staff being rail engineers and encompassing all key engineering disciplines, allows us to offer a range of maintenance services for our trains in the UK and continental Europe, as well as comprehensive technical support to our clients for so long as they have our trains in service in their operations.

We deploy our technical know-how to help maximise the reliability of our trains and achieve cost-efficiencies for our customers.

Angel Trains has invested heavily in research and development.
Recent innovations include:

• improvements to the adhesion capability of commuter trains in the United Kingdom
  
• the development of an 'air cycle' air conditioning system for passenger vehicles also in the United Kingdom
  
• the installation of ETCS signalling system on freight locomotives for operations on dedicated freight routes in the Netherlands
